Aledals Gård, Riding School and Equestrian Centre
Beautifully located on Öland, 4 km north of the bridge. The farm extends from the Öland land ridge down to the Kalmar strait
At Aledal there are horse stables (built 2001) with space for 68 horses. The distribution is approximately 40 places to school horses and 28 for private horses. The stable is built at an angle, and four partitions with boxes and stalls that culminate in a public square in the middle.
On the square stands a gently babbling fountain in natural stone. This is an obvious focal point, which functions as cleaning position. On the square are three small red houses, one of which is office and two are heated saddle rooms, one for the boarded horses and one for the riding school horses.
Riding school
Aledals Equestrian Centre has no club or association attached to it, and operates entirely privately without municipal contribution. They can not organize bigger events, but smaller events for the facility riders are held 2-3 times per semester.
Other associations have shown their interest to have different events at Aledal, including the Breed Society that has held 3-year old tests here and the East Coast Dressage Riders have organized National Grand Prix and regional dressage competitions and clinics of various kinds.
In the stables are about 40 riding school horses owned by the riding center. The races include Swedish halfbred and pony races of different types, such connemara, New Forest and Welsh.
day camps

Week 27,28,29 and 30 during the summer of 2014 camps are held at the school
Camps are from Monday – Friday and runs from 9 am to 3 pm (full day) or 8:30 am to 12 noon or 12:30 pm to 4 pm (half day).
What do we do at the camp?
– Rider dressage
– Jumps
– Has outdoor rides in the beautiful riding terrain
– Voltige
– Bath with horses in the Kalmar strait (approximately 800 meters from the compound)
You will be assigned a horse the first day that you then have all week. Please bring a packed lunch and swimwear.
