The food and atmosphere
For over 40 years, People on Öland and summer visitors have experienced and loved the unique food and atmosphere, in the unique building at the Lamb & Pig, located on the northern Öland.
Is this an exaggeration? No its not. The Lamb & Pig on Öland is certainly the only one of its kind. Both the restaurant building and food concept is completely unique. The restaurant offers whole roasted lamb and pork as a specialty. The meat carved at the restaurant in front of you so that you get exactly what you want – and as much as you want.
To this we serve up a sumptuous buffet of salads, vegetables, breads, sauces, butters, chutneys, potato dishes and other delicious accessories. For the children there is a also an extra buffet with meatballs, chicken, etc.
The bar has everything you possibly need, from soft drinks and beer to fantastic quality wines and summery drinks. A glass of champagne before dinner served on the superb roof terrace with views over the nature reserve Horns Kungsgård.
Each evening popular artists entertain. The atmosphere escalates during the evening. Around 10 pm starts the Big Singing Hour, if you go on the late seating, you should not miss this, sometimes it’s also spontaneous dance. It’s all up to you!
For the Children
The Lamb & Pig is very well suited for families with children!
Many families choose to visit us on the early seating when we open at 5 pm (already at 4 pm many days during the high season). Some choose to get on the later seating.
Kids love to get the meat cut up for them, and to be free to choose what accessories to get on the plate. We often hear that “it was a long time since my children ate this well.” A Banana Split Junior is a classic favorite in an alluring design.
The relaxed atmosphere and the amazing kids rooms and outdoor play area gets the kids to thrive.
Caravan, Motor home
Stay one day at no charge.
The restaurant has always had a parking field for caravans and tents, as a small camping.
Now there are also pitches for motorhomes. Toilets and water tap is open every day at the restaurant. But not shower.
