The bakery & cabin

In the Harbor of Stora Rör, in the former fisherman Cabin at the far end of the harbor towards the Kalmar strait is this bakery and café located. Here is baked several kinds of bread in a stone oven, and also buns and cakes as well, all with love, natural ingredients that are local as much as possible, and all from scratch at the “Mormors” (Grandmother’s), there are no intermediates. The name Mormors Stenugnsbageri & Kaffestuga in English is Gandmother,s Stone oven bakery & Coffeecabin

Here you will find happy smiles, sunshine, healthy light lunches, juices, plenty of tea and the aroma of coffee and freshly baked bread!

 

Bread

From crisp bread to sourdough, the very best Sourdough Bread can be found at “Mormors” shelves, Among the fixed range is bread baked from wheat sourdough and rye sourdough, with or without walnuts, “Mormors” Ölänska on rye and healthy seeds and fruit and nut bread in different varieties, and so of course “Mormors” Sourdough Baguettes with self-produced organic olive oil and flake Salt, it can’t get better!

 

Buns and cakes

“Mormors” buns took Öland by storm! No shortcuts there! Lots of good butter from the dairies in “Småland”, mixed with love and joy, just has to be tasted.

“Mormors” most popular favorite cakes baked with ingredients which allow anyone with hypersensitivity or intolerance to lactose, gluten and sugar to enjoy also! “Mormor” uses healthy coconut fat and sugar made from the coconut flowers.

 

Food

Healthy and tasty is the motto! Come and enjoy the fresh salads and sandwiches on the freshly baked sourdough bread. The raw materials are locally sourced as much as possible, and of course all organically grown.
