Our rooms
Gallery Blå Porten Bed & Breakfast now has five newly renovated rooms. Adjacent to the rooms are two separate bathrooms with shower, a lounge with TV and balcony with a view of the courtyard.
Café & Restaurant
The dining room has a panoramic view of the cultivated land whose horizon line ends in the Baltic Sea. We serve plain and simple lunches and full evening menus where our goal is to make use out of local ingredients. Throughout the day, we serve coffee and homemade cakes. Choose to sit out in the garden or in the library that is related to the dining room.
We are fully licensed.
Beverages
Thanks to a partnership with a private importer, we can offer good wines that are produced for our menu. The red wine Paso a Paso fits excellent to our famous lamb.
We are particularly proud to announce Ängöl among our beers. Ängöl is a microbrewery in Kalmar delivering exciting beers on draft and bottled.
We also have a small range of whiskey, including the unique Brechin 28y.
Gallery Blå Porten
The gallery started up in 1985 and has over the years represented numerous artists. The gallery’s exhibition space is approximately 60 m², consisting of white limestone walls with niches and older industrial windows.
Accommodation in the courtyard house
This summer we have a newly renovated courtyard house available for accommodation. Inside you will find two levels with a sofa bed downstairs and a double bed upstairs. It is located in the courtyard with a close connection to the other housing part where toilets and showers are available. The price of accommodation is the same as for the other accommodations, but we prefer a rental period minimum of three days.
