The guest house
Bo Pensionat was launched in 1914 by Maja Uddenberg.
Today Bo Pensionat is run by Catherine and Klaus & family.
Guests, who want to escape from the everyday routine, visit us, and who long to be taken care of and then enjoy our delicious food with a local flavor.
Here we are in walking distance to the Alvar with its unique habitats and beautiful orchids. Bo Pensionat is perfect for a long or short weekend, whether you want to rest and relax or get active. Everything is within reach.
The accommodation
22 rooms divided into single and double rooms, totaling between 35-50 beds, depending on the furnishing. All with shower and toilet.
Dining room for up to 100 guests, Nordings room seats up to 30 guests.
The Food
The restaurant
We cook our food and let ourselves be influenced by material from Öland, Småland, Sweden, preferably in this order, and after seasonal variations.
In the dining room we offer hot meals, entire menus with lamb from Öland, meat, fish and Swedish home cooking. Your choice!
Garden & Refreshments
Our daily menu lighter dishes such as Öland lamb salad and our Baltic Buffet are served.
Bo’s shrimp sandwich which is already the “hot topic” at the guest house with fresh green asparagus and shrimp, you can always order, day or evening.
The Coffee table is presented succumbed daily from 11-16.
The wine
We have wines from many countries and variety of grapes in our wine cellar, why not try a few different wines to your dinner.
BBQ and Music evenings
From 29 June to 3rd August, we have barbecues evenings every Friday, and on Thursdays we have music evenings and also have the grills fired up.
On our grills, we put peaces from Ölands lamb, our own tenderized beef, and homemade spicy sausages. Ventlinge Chicken, and last but not least, various wild meat from Öland and Småland.

Vickleby offers the tranquility you are looking for, for your meetings or conference. Whatever the purpose is, Bo Pensionat is the right place.
A walk on the Alvar, a conversation in the garden or a group-theme to glue a team together, all possibilities exist and you can choose direction.
We will be happy to provide you with support, to make your sure that your gathering is nothing less than a success to remember for all participants.
