We are a bed and breakfast centrally located on the beautiful island of Öland. We also have a charming cafe where we offer breakfast, light meals, and a much appreciated waffle menu!
For those of you who are interested in art, we invite to our art gallery where you can see Jan Sellmanns nice paintings.
Edith & Julia Bed and Breakfast is located 12 kilometers south of Borgholm, in the village Rälla. Edith & Julia is the perfect base for your holiday as it is close to both Borgholm and Kalmar. Bathing areas like Stora Rör and family friendly Ekerumsbadet, Ölands Zoo, museums, golf courses and other attractions are located nearby.
The building was originally an old school which is now converted into a bed and breakfast and cafe / art gallery. Breakfast is served in our cozy café and can also be enjoyed in the garden.
The accommodation
Edith & Julia offers two types of accommodation to choose from. The main building, which also houses the cafe / art gallery, has a higher standard than the stand-alone houses and toilet in the rooms. The separate houses offer more simple rooms and shared toilet and shower.
The main house has three double rooms of different character and WC in each room.
In the Yard room there is a small kitchen with stove and fridge, and there is also a shower and toilet.
Gårdslängan offers three four-bed rooms which are ideal for families or friends. Each room has two 90-beds, complemented by a sleeping loft for two people. Gårdslängan have shared toilet and shower.
The independent Friggeboden offers 4 beds in two single beds and two beds on the loft. The shower and toilet are shared with Gårdslängan.
Our large garden invites you to pleasant evenings with barbecue and games for young and old. For the smallest there are swings and a large lawn to run at. Bring your tray from the cafe and sit in the sun on our patio.
Our appreciated breakfast buffet includes: coffee, tea, juice, eggs, bread, various toppings such as cheese, ham, vegetables and fruit, curdled milk & flakes. It is served in the old school hall starting at. 08:00 to 10:00.
