The camping and activities
Stenåsabadets Camping is a three-star, scenic campground in the middle of the World Heritage in southeastern Öland. Wide meadows surround this tranquil haven, also offering a lovely sandy beach with shallow waters suitable for children swimming, facing the Baltic ocean.
For the children there is a playground with swings and slide and also mini golf for the whole family.
We have service building with restrooms, showers (no charge), kitchen and washing machine. In our reception you can rent bikes.
The campsite is equipped with wireless Internet access from Telia hotspot. Everything you need to get started is a laptop with a wireless network card
or equivalent, register, and then you go. More information about this service can be found on Telia’s Website.
2011 we built a new service building with two family rooms (one is accessible for disabled) and toilets and sauna.
During spring and autumn is Stenåsabadet one of Öland’s most popular bird watching locations, in particular from the observation tower on the beach.
The cottages
We have 4 cabins. All cabins are equipped with bunk beds with duvets and pillows and kitchen equipment. TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and stove.
We have three brand new cabins. The cottages are 4 beds (possibly 5). These are equipped with a double bed, a bunk bed with duvets and pillows.
Kitchen with Fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker. In the living room you will find a sofa with accompanying armchairs, TV with DVD.
Tiled bathroom with shower.
We offer a large house adjacent to the campsite with its own secluded plot. The cottage contains 6 beds. Two bedrooms with two beds each, plus a sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom, kitchen and terrace.
4 cottages (2 twin cottages), with toilet and shower, and four beds. One bedroom with two beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen area, TV and a porch.
