In summer, we are an entertainment metropolis with a popular restaurant, marina, piano bar, live music and famous artists on stage! A number of popular bars and one of the summer’s heaviest night clubs assure that we can guarantee you long, hot summer nights.
The accommodation
Strand Borgholm has everything from single rooms to multiple bed rooms with great views of Borgholm or the Kalmar Strait. Why not enjoying a panoramic suite with sea view, private sauna and whirlpool tub!
We have adapted to our guests’ needs and preferences and can therefore offer special allergy rooms, dog rooms and rooms with extra-long bed, or if you need a crib for your youngest, nothing is impossible, we arrange it, (dog rooms and crib is at additional charge). Do not forget to book in advance!
The hotel has: 350 beds in: 12 single rooms, 90 double rooms and 21 suites.
All rooms have: WC, bath / shower, hairdryer, radio, TV and wireless internet and cashbox for storing valuables.
The Food
Welcome to the Strand Hotel and to enjoy the food of Öland. Our Chef creates international dishes with an Öland character. His strong background in the restaurant world is the basis for his varied and amazing ingenuity! Enjoy this while you have the pleasure to enjoy the sunset over the Kalmar strait!
The Dockside Bar, here you can have a drink, a coffee and liqueur, or just pop in for a glass of wine. The Dockside Bar is the perfect meeting place in a marine environment with soft music. Enjoy the sunset over the Kalmar strait and the boats in our marina.

Relax
As a guest you are welcome, free of charge, to use the relaxation area with whirlpool, exercise facilities, Sauna and the 25-meter pool. The relaxation area is also available for non residential guests.

Conferences and Groups
The Strand Hotel in Borgholm is a classic venue!
Here you can arrange everything from small simple meetings and conferences to colorful, grand jubilee celebrations. Nothing is new to us, whether it is for ten guests or three hundred!

Activities
Beach and Pool
At Strand Hotel, we have our own sandy beach right next to the hotel.
Just behind the beach, we have sun beds for our hotel guests and they are of course free to use. Would you prefer to swim indoors, we also have a 25-meter indoor pool adjacent to the terrace.
After Beach and nightclub
On nearly all week days during the summer there is some sort of entertainment from the stage, after beach with the elite of Sweden’s cover bands, artist appearances on stage and nightclub, often with two dance floors.
