No other landscape in Sweden can show such a rich variety of environments, and is thereby ideal for many different kinds of birds to rest. In addition to this is \u00d6land laid out as a giant compass needle in the middle of one of the largest routes for migratory birds and thereby often become the first land that the birds see when they cross the Baltic Sea &#8211; spring and autumn.<\/p>\n<p>Of the rarest guests in Sweden is there 12 species that\u2019s only been observed on \u00d6land. And for a large number of unusual guests is \u00d6land accountable for the highest number of observations in the country.
