Birds in November
Many birders believe that the fall is over after the last intense weeks in October, but this is usually not the case. Early November is almost regarded as a somewhat watered-down October, which is not at all that bad!

Occasional lagging Passerines still appears, both common and rarer species. Some, like the Great Grey Shrike, Twite, Snow Bunting, Common Redpoll and perhaps Arctic Redpoll have late migration peaks, while some previous species lingers and long haul rarities make unexpected visits.
The gull migration can still be significant and small groups of Long-tailed Ducks usually fly past, otherwise, most of the seabirds have passed. All our four Loon species can still turn up, often together with the Grebes and Auks.They now also offers their most beautiful winter outfits in black, gray and white, totally different from the breeding periods more colorful creations.
Smew, Purple Sandpiper, Black Guillemot, Little Auk, Common Kingfisher, Horned Lark and Pine Grosbeak.
