The Bistro
Gamla Televerket Bistro/Wine Bar is a wonderful little bistro with about 30 seats, which in the summer expands with additional 30 seats on the sidewalk outside and in the beautiful courtyard. The location is perfect, just at Borgolms square.
The menu is varied as it should be at a bistro, from the French bouillabaisse, via the carrot soup or vegetarian burger to the Swedish Classic dish “Biff a la Lindström”, or why not a fillet of deer. Some dishes can also be ordered in small or large portions.
When it comes to wines, the management has gone that extra mile, a large and varied selection, and of all colors, white, red and rose, from around the world. The wine list features 40 different wines from 9 different countries, and most of the wines you can buy by the glass. So have a go and find your own favorite. See current wine list on the homepage.
Not hungry? No problem, you’re always welcome to sit in the bar as well, maybe a beer, a glass of wine or just a plain cup of coffee.
After Work
Fridays 4 pm to 6 pm

A glass of wine or beer and a plate of snack – 100 SEK.
Other
The bistro serves a breakfast buffet to room guests at the B&B between the hours 8-11 am, and during the summer this is also available to drop-in guests “from the street”, subject to availability.
Outside the specified opening hours the Bistro can also be booked for parties, conferences or other meetings.
