Development of Hotel Borgholm to what it is today rests on a long tradition. Already in the middle of the 19th century were an inn located in the older part of the hotel, facing the Main Street, the inn became Borgholm City hotel and in 1972 the name changed to Hotel Borgholm.
Today Hotel Borgholm is known for Karin Fransson’s gastronomy, a wine cellar with the nobility from the world of wines and an interior that makes a visit a pleasure, even to the eye.

Karin Fransson’s herb scented food is a taste in the master class. The restaurant is a meeting place for gourmets from far and wide. A combination of quality, tradition and creativity characterize the meals served.
The wine cellar
The wine cellar has an extensive selection of wines. It is the result of a long-term investment in both breadth and depth. In the wine cellar you can find wines from the nobility of the wine world and in the best vintages. But there are of course new and exciting and great wines with simpler pedigrees to nice prices. Not least important is that the wines harmonize with Karin Fransson’s cuisine.
Dining: Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm
Lunch: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 11.30 am to 1.45 pm
