The accommodation
The Old Guest house in Södvik welcomes you to nice rooms with comfortable beds in a friendly environment and good food and drink.
The guest house is located on northern Öland, about 25 km north of Borgholm and is open all year. It is one of Öland’s oldest hostelries, dating from the early 18th century. There is a large old-fashioned garden and beautiful stone houses.
The garden is at the guests’ disposal. There are several seatings with the option of both food, rest and recreation. The veranda has a bookcase full of garden books for guests to borrow and read during their stay.
The accommodation offers four double rooms with light and pleasant decor, comfortable beds, TV, shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, complimentary mineral water, and breakfast is included, of course.
There is always that little extra done for the guests to feel at home. Extra pillows and extra blankets are a given.
Food and drink
In the Bar & Dining Room, you will find furniture in the 1960 style, where a rich breakfast buffet is served to the guests.
In high season is served hot and cold snacks and coffee, soft drinks, beer or wine during the afternoons and evenings.
On some weekends and at the Harvest Festival everyone is welcomed to enjoy a themed menu depending on the season, spring or autumn buffet.
You can also book the bar & dining room for receptions, gatherings and celebrations of all kinds. Birthday parties, weddings, club meetings, courses and conferences are also organized.
Other
The Brewery house with a gallery and summer shop and the stone barn with outdoor stage, where concerts sometimes are given with garden serving.
