The Hotel
Skansen Hotel is centrally located in Färjestaden with its own park in front and adjacent to the park is the outdoor terrace and pool, in short, a place to relax and enjoy.
At Hotel Skansen is also a wonderful spa where trained therapists will pamper you as guests. There are many who choose to make their stay a delightful spaweekend.
Here it is close to everything. Färjestadens harbor with restaurants, outdoor cafes and the ferry to Kalmar city in a short walking distance, and the Öland Zoo is just a few kilometers from the hotel. With bicycle you can reach everything that Öland can offer, the great Alvar (The unique and typical moor of Öland), museums, artists, galleries and golf courses. A perfect base to enjoy and take part of all that Öland has to offer.

The suites also have Jacuzzi, adjustable beds, air conditioning and minibar.
The Spa
The hotel has a large Spa center with swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Here you can get a variety of treatments and also get a workout in the exercise room, and of course you can simply relax with a drink or a cup of coffee too.

The Restaurant
At Skansen Hotel, you can take the chance to do each day to a special event.
An example is the luxurious champagne served at bargain prices, every evenings of the week. At Hotel Skansen celebration and joy is a natural part of everyday life.
The restaurant offers a dining experience of the modern Nordic cuisine, a meal where the raw material is selected with care and the variations of the seasons. Lunches are served with classic Swedish dishes in combination with something that may be newer or lighter.
Local producers are as much as possible suppliers of the raw materials that are used in the restaurant, so here you really get a taste of Öland, all varying by season.

The Bar
Comfortable and cozy lounge / bar with everything you can think of, bar service and comfortable sofas around, and outdoor seating during the warmer time of the year. The bar is always open at least one hour after the kitchen closes.
Whisky
Hotel Skansen have the largest whiskey cellar in Sweden, with over 1100 varieties of whiskey, and constantly increasing. At Hotel Skansen, you can make an appointment for whiskey tastings, lectures, or organize your own party. You can even get your own bottle bottled at Hotel Skansen.
Activities
Gourmet-, Golf- and Spa-weekends are organized regularly and can of course be tailored to your own preferences. Weddings and parties, with the hotels own limousines, it will be an unforgettable event, from just the two of you and the witnesses, to the big family feast.
