Welcome to us at the Pension Grankullavik!
We are a small family run Pension run by the Andersson family since 2009. Our vision is to restore this old pension to what it once was. During our years here we have been told the most amazing stories about Grankullavik from 1930th and onwards, and this has inspired us to revive this fantastic and charming pension to its former glory.
We offer you a nice and orderly living in a natural setting. The proximity to the lighthouse
“Långe Erik” (Tall Erik), hiking in “Trollskogen” (Troll Forest) where ivy grows wild and you can experience the tranquility in the greenery and “Neptuni” fields that blooms with its small purple flowers over the Viking graves.
The accommodation
We offer 2 and 4 bed rooms in the guest house, 2 and 4 bed cottages as well as 2 and 4 bed cabins with private toilet, shower and kitchen.
All rooms and cottages have access to common toilets, showers and kitchens.
All prices include buffet breakfast, beds made on arrival and departure cleaning. If you require extra cleaning or linen/towels we will provide this at a small fee.
The dining room
Here you can bring your own food and drink, to enjoy it with the beautiful view. The dining room and game room is available for you as a guest for socializing, games or why not relax with a good book?
Breakfast
For our guests at Grankullavik a buffet breakfast is included, with fresh bread every morning. Breakfast opens 07.30 and is served until 10:00.
Reception
Here you can borrow board games, outdoor games and fishing rod, if you need Wireless internet access, the front desk will provide it for you.
Open daily from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 p.m. to 6 pm.
Check-in is between the hours of 3 pm to 6 p.m.
Check out time at 11 am
Other
We also have bicycle rentals for those who want to explore the island of Öland a bit more on your own. These are rented at the reception.
